The Project

The PyMesh project is the first attempt of a package made by tviuff. The idea behind the package came when working on a floating wind turbine (FWT) concept and having to defined the FWT geometry as part of the hydrodynamic wave load analysis in WAMIT. At the time, no input low-order geometric data file (GDF) was available and so the geometry was made using functional programming, based on project-specified dimensions. Ever since then, the idea of creating a simpe API for generating simple geometries and converting them to low-order geometric data files was born.
